Thousands of years ago, humanity made a decision; a decision to live with a sense of inner separation.
On August 16th and 17th 1987, a grand conjunction called the Harmonic Convergence occurred that consisted of a number of planets in Leo that trined Jupiter in Aries, and also trined Saturn and Uranus in Sagittarius. This event initiated a Spiritual Humanity Factor on Mother Earth, which restored Mother Earth’s identity and Spiritual nature as we converged harmonically in a major unification of souls with purpose on this planet.
Angie Thompson, from Astral Computing in San Diego, California, sent the Astrology Hour an article about the Harmonic Convergence which read as follows:
Willow – (Salix alba) – Folk Names: Osier, Pully Willow, Saille, Salicyn Willow, Saugh Tree, Tree of Enchantment, White Willow, Witches' Aspirin, Withe, Withy – Powers: Love, Love Divination, Protection, Healing – Magickal Uses: Willow leaves are carried or used in mixtures to Attract Love, and the Wood to fashion Magickal Wands dedicated to Moon Magick.
Cedar – (Cedrus Libani or C. spp.) – Powers: Healing, Purification, Money, and Protection – Magickal Uses: The smoke of the Cedar is Purifying, and also cures the predilection to having bad dreams. Twigs of the Cedar are burned and smoldered, or made into Incense. To heal head colds, they are placed upon the hot rocks in sweat baths for purification by some American Indians. Cedar hung in the home protects it against lightening strikes. A Cedar stick carved into three prongs is placed up into the ground near the home to protect it against all evil. A piece of Cedar kept in the wallet or purse draws Money, and Cedar is used in Money incenses. Cedar is added to Love sachets, and is burned to induce Psychic Powers. Buddha was born Gautama Siddartha, the son of a King. Forsaking Title, Wealth, and Family, he traveled India as a Hermit on his search for Enlightenment. This he found after six years of wandering, while sitting under a Bo Tree. Upon achieving Enlightenment, he was given the choice of ascending to Nirvana or traveling the world and teaching others. He chose the latter and became founder of the Buddhist Religion. Metaphysically, Castles represent a safe, walled, space, a fortress where one can feel protected and enclosed. They also symbolize dreams, aspirations, and happy fantasy legends of fairy tales. They can become Castles in the air, if we dream about them; however, if we create a strong foundation for them, we can make them real in our hearts and our minds. The Bagua is central to Feng Shui, the Art of Placement, and creating Sacred Space. The Bagua is an 8 sided diagram derived from Eight Trigrams which form the root of the Hexagrams of the I-Ching, (the Chinese “Book of Changes”) a powerful tool for Divination and Growth. Centered in the Bagua is the Yin-Yang Symbol. This powerful symbol is used in creating flow and harmony in your life. Belly Dance, now more properly called “Mid-Eastern Dance” is derived from the ancient “Dance of the 7 Veils.” If performed properly, it invokes Trance, while celebrating sensuality, beauty and power of the feminine body. Arrows are symbolic of the ability to drive something home. They represent swiftness, skill, and the ability to fly to the heart of the matter. Arrows represent the Hunter or Horned One aspect of God. In Egypt, the Arrow was a symbol of Divine Power, personified by Neith, the Goddess of War, whose cult was presented by Two Crossed Arrows. Two Crossed Arrows could also represent the Power of Hemsut, which was a female form of Ka-the Soul. Symbolic also of the rays of the Sun, Atum was the Archer who fired sunbeams as though they were Arrows. At the king’s Ascension, he would fire an Arrow in each of the four cardinal directions; representing the king’s power over the four corners of the world. In Greek and Roman legend the arrows of Eros or Cupid stirred love and desire in the hearts of men. He had two types of Arrows – golden with Dove feathers which aroused love, or leaden Arrows which had Owl feathers that created indifference. Arrows appear prominently in the legends of Robin Hood and William Tell as well as many other tales. Arrows were one of the symbols of Isten, Hungarian supreme God and the personification of light, as well as of the Tibetan Goddess of Love, Wealth, and Kurukulla. Breo Saighead, one aspect of the Celtic Goddess Brigid means “Fiery Arrow or Power.” |
